The Castle Hill Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre was established in 1985 by Mr Steven Cheng.

Steve has over 45 years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has provided quality care in the Hills District for over 30 years.

All our practitioners are nationally registered and/or members of professional associations;

  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA)

  • Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd (AACMA)

  • Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA)

  • Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS)

Chinese Medicine involves multiple forms of therapies;

Acupuncture - insertion of sterile fine needles to promote free flow of Qi.

Herbal Medicine - internal and external application of traditional Chinese herbs to regulate bodily functions.

Cupping - placement of suction cups on the skin to improve circulation.

Tui Na - a form of massage to release blockages and restore normal flow of Qi.

Yang Sheng - Dietary and lifestyle advice based on Chinese Medicine principles.

*Chinese medicine is generally considered to be safe when practiced by a registered practitioner but occasionally (as with all health treatments) may be associated with possible adverse reactions in individual cases.
